## What does Uptika measure, from where and how often?

Public store data is read on a fixed schedule; connect your own accounts and your installs, revenue and ad numbers come in too.

| Measurement | Source | Depth | Cadence |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Keyword rank · App Store | iTunes Search API, search order | Top 200 results | Daily, from 04:00 (Istanbul) |
| Keyword rank · Google Play | Public Google Play search page | First results page, about 30 | Daily, from 04:00 (Istanbul) |
| Popularity 1–100 | The store's own autocomplete | App Store 10, Google Play 5 suggestions | Every 7 days |
| Difficulty 1–100 | Rating counts and titles of the top 10 | Top 10 | Daily |
| Category charts | App Store RSS charts, Google Play top charts | App Store 100, Google Play 200 | Every 3 hours |
| Rival listings | App Store and Google Play app pages | Title, subtitle or short description, icon, screenshots, version, price; the change since yesterday | Daily |
| Rival momentum | App pages | Install count change on Google Play, new ratings per day on the App Store | Daily |
| Reviews | App Store review RSS (per country), Google Play reviews | The newest reviews | Every 6 hours |
| Downloads · App Store (your account) | App Store Connect Analytics Reports, App Downloads Standard | First downloads and redownloads by source type and territory | Synced every 3 hours |
| Installs · Google Play (your account) | Play Console monthly CSV reports from your report bucket | Installs, uninstalls, active devices, listing visitors and acquisitions by traffic source, search term and country | Synced every 3 hours |
| Revenue (your account) | RevenueCat API v2 | Daily revenue, MRR, active subscriptions, trials, new customers, refunds | Refreshed when you open the revenue page |
| Apple Ads (your account) | Apple Ads API | Campaigns, ad groups, keywords, search terms, daily reports; the last 90 days on first connect | Every 3 hours |

A day we could not read stays empty and is never filled with a guess. Any estimate in the dashboard is labeled as one.

## What goes into the ASO score?

Each storefront's 0–100 ASO score is built from nine parts; a part without data is left out and the remaining weights are re-normalised.

| Part | Weight |
| --- | --- |
| Search visibility | 20% |
| Keyword coverage | 15% |
| Metadata efficiency | 15% |
| 7-day movement | 10% |
| Competitive strength | 10% |
| Listing conversion | 10% |
| Ratings and reviews | 10% |
| Freshness and visuals | 5% |
| Localization | 5% |

How each part is computed: the [ASO score](https://uptika.app/en/product/aso-score) page and the [methodology](https://uptika.app/en/guides/methodology) guide.

## Which languages does Uptika speak?

The site and the dashboard come in six languages; Uptika's take, AI answers and drafts are written in the dashboard's language.

| Language | Site | Dashboard | AI text |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Turkish | yes | yes | yes |
| English | yes | yes | yes |
| Spanish | yes | yes | yes |
| Portuguese (Brazil) | yes | yes | yes |
| German | yes | yes | yes |
| French | yes | yes | yes |

The storefronts you track are separate: you can measure any country storefront the store is open in, whatever language your dashboard is in.

## What does Uptika connect to?

Store and revenue accounts connect with your own keys, alerts go to the channel you pick, and the data opens up through the API and MCP.

| Integration | What it gives you | Plan |
| --- | --- | --- |
| App Store Connect | Your own App Store downloads by source type and territory | Starter |
| Google Play Console | Installs, uninstalls, active devices, listing visitors, search terms, countries | Starter |
| Apple Ads | Performance, campaigns, opportunities, ad vs organic rank, rules, action log | Starter |
| RevenueCat | Daily revenue, MRR, subscriptions, trials, refunds | Starter |

Connecting an account is open on every plan; the Analytics, Playbook and Apple Ads pages that show its data open on Starter.

What each integration reads and where you connect it: the [Integrations](https://uptika.app/en/integrations) page.

## How do you get data out of the dashboard?

Every card and every table carries the same export menu; the report and your raw account data download separately.

| Format | Where | Plan |
| --- | --- | --- |
| PNG image | Every card and table | Starter |
| Data copy: Sheets, Markdown, CSV | Every card and table | Starter |
| AI prompt | Every card and table; built from the numbers on screen | Starter |
| PDF report (summary, watermarked) | Uptika report | Free |
| PDF report (full) | Uptika report | Starter |
| PDF report (your own brand) | Uptika report | Portfolio |
| Account data (JSON) | Settings › Plan and billing › Account and data | Every plan |
| API (JSON) | Settings › API and MCP | Growth |

## How are your account and keys protected?

A short, honest list: what we do, and what we do not do yet.

- **Encrypted keys**: Integration keys and alert channel secrets are stored encrypted with AES-256-GCM and never shown again.
- **Passwords**: Your password is never stored as plain text; it is hashed with scrypt.
- **Sessions**: The session cookie is HttpOnly and SameSite=Lax, valid for 30 days.
- **Workspace isolation**: Every API call is checked so a request only reaches its own workspace data.
- **API keys**: Create them in the dashboard, see when each was last used and revoke any of them at any time.
- **Payments**: Card payments are handled by iyzico; your card details never reach Uptika.
- **Two-factor sign-in**: Two-factor authentication (2FA) is not available yet. Pick a strong password you do not use anywhere else.

## How long is data kept?

Retention depends on the kind of data; deleting a workspace removes its readings right away.

| Data | Kept for |
| --- | --- |
| Rank history and readings | As long as the account exists (the Free plan shows the last 7 days) |
| Product analytics events, sign-in events, presence | 180 days |
| Error log | 90 days |
| Free-tool visitor usage counters | 2 days |
| Payment and receipt records | 10 years under Turkish tax law, without the Turkish ID number |
| A deleted workspace's apps, keywords, competitors, alerts, keys and readings | Deleted right away |

## Questions

### Which stores and countries do you measure?

The App Store and Google Play. Every country storefront the store is open in is measured separately, with its own ranks, charts and ASO score. How many storefronts you track per app depends on your plan.

### Why only the top 30 on Google Play?

Google Play's public search page shows the first results page, about 30 apps. Uptika reads that page and does not guess what lies below it.

### What do I need to see my own installs and revenue?

Connect App Store Connect, Google Play Console or RevenueCat with your own keys. Connecting is open on every plan; the pages that show the data open on Starter.

### Can I get my data out of the dashboard?

Yes. On paid plans every card and table exports as PNG, Sheets, Markdown, CSV or an AI prompt, and Growth and Portfolio add the API and MCP. You can download your account data as JSON on every plan.

### Is there two-factor authentication?

Not yet. Until then, use a strong password you do not use anywhere else.
