> Uptika's rival log compares the store listings of the rivals you follow, and your own, with the day before, every day, and records each change across eleven fields, from title to price, with its date and a word-by-word diff.

## What do you get?

- **Eleven fields, every day**: Title, short description or subtitle, developer, version, price, icon, screenshots, description, minimum OS, category and content rating.
- **Word-by-word diff**: Removed and added words are marked in text changes; icons and screenshots show before and after thumbnails.
- **Competitor moves**: The 7 days before and after each change: the rival's top 10 keywords, the searches it rose and fell on, its chart position and daily growth, next to yours.
- **A clear verdict**: If its top 10 keywords grew by 2+, it rose on a net 3+ searches, climbed 10+ chart places or its daily growth rose 20%+, the move "worked". When data is thin, it says so.
- **Filter and look back**: The last 30, 90 or 365 days, filtered by store, field and whose change it was: everyone, rivals or us.

## How does it work?

1. **Follow your rivals**: The listings of the rivals you follow and your own app are read every day. Competitor moves also suggest apps that keep showing up in your keywords.
2. **Changes are logged**: When a field differs from yesterday it enters the log with its date and its previous version.
3. **You read the result**: Seven days later, competitor moves put a number on the effect; a move that worked lands in the Do today list as a rival to review.

### How fast do I see a change?

Listings are read daily, so a change shows up in the log after the next day's reading.

### Is the "worked" verdict certain?

No, it is a signal. Ads, featuring or the season also move numbers in the same window; Uptika applies open rules and notes that the change may not be the only cause.

### Do my own changes show up?

Yes. The "Us" filter shows the changes to your own listing, so you can always find what you changed and when.
