Source
The App Store's public category charts (top 100 or 200) and Google Play's category charts, read daily by Uptika. Only the countries and categories we actually read are listed.

Climbers and new entrants
Today's chart is compared with the previous reading. On the day of the first reading these sections stay empty; the comparison starts the next day.

New launches
Apps with a release date in the last 90 days that are on the chart (page details are read for the App Store top 100 and the Google Play top 30).
04
Market level
The top 10's median rating count and average rating, how many updated in the last 30 days, and the number of paid apps.

Questions

How often is it updated?

Charts are read every day; the page shows the date and time of the reading.

Why not every country?

Chart Movers only shows markets we actually read. In an Uptika account your own app's categories and countries are tracked as well.

Is chart rank the download count?

No. The stores do not publish their ranking formula; the chart is the store's own order. We only show the order and the public details on each page.
